THE CREATOR BEHIND THE CHANNEL
Hey.
I’m Melvin.
Newfoundland DIY. Real-world repairs. A willingness to have a go—and share what happens.
I make Southsideboystyle videos about cars, diagnostics, body work, painting, budget fixes and hands-on projects. The channel is about seeing the actual work, learning along the way, and coming back with updates.
I’m not a licensed mechanic. These are my own DIY projects and experiences. A video can help you understand a job, but it can’t inspect your vehicle, confirm a diagnosis, or replace the correct service information.

WHY A WEBSITE?
The video is the start.
The notes help it stick.
Sometimes you want to watch a repair. Sometimes you want to stop, read through the context and make a plan. This site brings selected videos and original written companions together, with clear routes back to the channel.
The repair notes explain what to record, which questions to ask and the limits of a particular example. Read at your own pace, keep a useful checklist, and return to the original video when you want to see the work.
